Welcome!

To this, the new revamped and updated Cardiff Student Amnesty International Website, (with extra sparkly bits).
The aims of Amnesty International, and what you can do to help.
Home of the Urgent Action Appeals, requires 5 minutes and can help save lives
Worldwide news, brought to you via the Amnesty International mailing list.

An all new site created by an all new team from an all new society. After the demise of the last Cardiff Student Amnesty Group, the site was banished to the wasteland of broken links, but was saved from obscurity by us, and remodelled into this glowing, pulsating beast that is now inhabiting your browser

Hopefully if everything goes to plan this will be one of the best, all singing, all dancing web sites this side of Yahoo, but knowing me I'll get caught up in my course again, (contrary to popular belief, some students take a break from drinking and do some work) and things will be slow. This front page will change when I get the official greeting message from our exalted leader, Jim Willets, (but as per usual he's being useless)

Apologies to those who emailed us whilst the site was going unchecked over summer, they are being read and if we can some people will recieve replies, but you must bear in mind that we do have degrees to study for, and copious quantities of beer to drink

Information on any of our doings down here in South Wales
Links to pages about human rights and environmental concerns worldwide.
The Universal Declaration of Human Rights, and bits that didn't fit in anywhere else in the site.

This site was created by Sam Tait, Social Secretary and IT officer for the Cardiff Student Amnesty International Society.
