Cardiff Students' Bellringing Society

Welcome

Coming to Cardiff? Already a ringer, or just fancy giving it a go? It doesn't matter what standard of ringer you are, whether you are an 'expert' or have never pulled a rope before.

Cardiff has a history of an active student ringing band, and today is no different with a small, but committed and active society based at St John's church in the town centre (opposite the castle) [map] where we ring with the local band.

Hopefully we will have a stand at Fresher's Fair where you can say hello, but in case you miss us please come down to the tower anytime.

We ring on a Thursday evening for practice (19:30-21:00) then enjoy a pint in a nearby public house. Sunday ringing is 9:00-9:30 and 17:00-18:00 which everybody is encouraged to support.

Socially we have good links with the societies in Aberystwyth and Swansea and join the Welsh Colleges Society for their regular tours. Away from ringing we mange to fit in trips to the pub, bowling, BBQs, dinners and whatever people fancy organising.
