About us. 

We meet twice a week. Firstly at 7.00pm on Mondays in the Great Hall and then on Wednesdays at 2.00pm in the Park Place Sports Center.  

We welcome both beginners and old hands and meet on a very informal basis. 

Sessions are relaxed with everyone doing as much or as little fencing as they feel like.

This is not to say we aren't competitive though and last years successes are testament to the skill of both our coaches and our fencers. 

Due to the yearly change of members squad positions, for the more competitive among us, are open to all contenders.  

Coaching is handled by the Welsh Olympic coach Peter Stuart on Mondays and by any of the more experienced fencers if the need arises.  

We are also a very social club with weekly nights out in the student union (Fun Factory) after the Monday session + regular themed nights out like our very successful star wars night and the memorable (or is that unmemorable) pub golf.
